The Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new community band program for young musicians. The OSYO Youth Band is open to all young musicians in the Halton area from grades 6-9. We welcome musicians on all of the following instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, saxophone (alto, tenor and baritone), trumpet, horn, trombone, baritone, euphonium, tuba, timpani and percussion.
Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:15pm at Kings Christian Collegiate, and run between October and May. Auditions are held in late May and early September, however, additional auditions can be scheduled through the season for new members.
